Profile Summary
Hi! I am a techie from Portugal that loves cats and making the life of people around me easier.
My love for technology started early on and led me to reboot the robotics club at my high school. We went on to participate in the national robotics competition RoboParty multiple years in a row, where we consistently ranked among the top five teams.
While in high school I was elected president of the student association, where my team and I organised activities to brighten up student life. Later on, in university, I co-founded the junior enterprise JUNISEC as a way to promote the university and to help students get work experience.
Two of my biggest passions are automation and monitoring, which has led me to build some projects around my house to monitor power consumption and solar production. I have also automated all the day-to-day tasks needed to maintain my home server, such as backups and updates.
I am a big fan of open-source software and use it whenever I can. I have contributed to some of my favourite projects such as Authelia and Uptime Kuma. I believe it is a great opportunity to learn and grow as a developer.
